In Krista’s Kitchen was started as a creative outlet for me to share my delicious recipes and love for food with you. The recipes you’ll find here are the flavors and dishes I love most. These recipes are family friendly, delicious and doable for the home cook. In Krista’s Kitchen is a great place for home cooks to find new recipes and cooking tips to help you create the best recipe possible. It’s a place to find new recipes to share with your families and friends at get togethers or at home. A place to discover new ingredients and flavor profiles you never knew you loved! My Story
I grew up in a small town in Illinois and have always had a love for food and cooking. I watched my mom cooking starting at a young age and was eager to learn how to create the same delicious dishes she did. I’ve spent the last 18 years as a professional chef and now have 2 little girls of my own to teach how to cook.
I realized my love for food photography in 2019. At the end of 2019 I started a food photography course called Foodtography School. That is where I learned all of my food photography skills thus far. I am now an affiliate for Foodtography School! As I started with food photography I realized I could be sharing the recipes along with my photos and that’s how In Krista’s Kitchen was born!
