For this recipe you'll need: flour, cranberries, baking powder, salt, butter, sugar, orange, olive oil, vanilla, eggs, whole milk, and heavy cream.
Toss the cranberries in a medium mixing bowl with ¼ cup all purpose flour then set aside
Coat the Cranberries
Whisk the dry ingredients together. Cream together the butter and sugar, mix in oil and vanilla, then add eggs one at a time and milk. Whisk in the dry ingredients until combined.
Make the Batter
Fold in the flour coated cranberries. Pour batter into prepared cake pan and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes, covering the cake the last 20 minutes loosely with foil.
Make the Batter & Bake
Add all sauce ingredients to a pot and bring to a simmer for 12-15 minutes, whisking frequently. Pour the sauce over the top of the cake and serve warm or at room temperature
