For this homemade gingerbread cookie recipe you'll need: flour, salt, molasses, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, mustard, butter, brown sugar, baking soda, vanilla & powdered sugar.
Mix the wet ingredients and molasses in a medium mixing bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment.
Whisk the dry ingredients in a small mixing bowl then add it to your wet ingredients being careful not to overmix the gingerbread cookie mix.
Roll out the gingerbread cookie dough then cut out gingerbread men and other shapes with cookie cutters. Bake cookies then cool on a wire rack.
