Pineapple Cream Cheese Pound Cake

For this recipe you'll need: cake flour, baking powder, salt, butter, sugars, honey, cream cheese, eggs, sour cream, vanilla, lime juice, and fresh pineapple.


Whisk together dry ingredients. Beat together the wet ingredients then slowly add in the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Make the Batter

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pans and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Insert a toothpick to the center of the pound cake to check for doneness.


Mix the butter and honey together for 2 minutes then add the sifted powdered sugar, milk, lime juice, zest and salt. Mix on until light and fluffy.

Make the Buttercream

Top the fully cooled pineapple cream cheese pound cake with frosting and serve at room temperature
