This Soft Gingerbread Cookie recipe is on of my favorite Grandma's Molasses cookies recipes. Full of molasses, ginger, cinnamon and cloves!
For this Soft Gingerbread Cookie recipe you'll need: ginger, cinnamon, molasses, cloves, salt, flour, eggs, brown sugar and butter. Powdered sugar, vanilla extract and milk.
Making Soft Gingerbread Cookies is easy. Cream brown sugar and butter in a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment.
Add molasses and egg to the gingerbread cookie dough. Mix just until combined.
The soft gingerbread cookie dough will come together in the mixer. Divide into two disks and refrigerate.
roll your Grandma's Molasses Cookie dough out about 1/4 inch thick. Cut gingerbread men and other shapes out. Place on a parchment lined tray and bake.
Enjoy your soft gingerbread cookie recipe as is or make a little icing and add it to the cookies for decoration!
