  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin butter

Rim

  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin spice
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt
  • 1 orange wedge for wetting the rim

Garnish (optional)

  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 lime wedge

Instructions

Making the Rim

  • Mix the pumpkin spice and salt together on a small plate
  • Wet the rim of the glass with an orange wedge then dip the glass into the spice mix

Making the Pumpkin Spice Margarita

  • Add tequila, lime juice, orange juice, simple syrup and pumpkin butter to cocktail shaker. Shake well. Add ice to glass and pour cocktail mix over ice
  • Garnish with a cinnamon stick or lime wedge if desired

Notes

  • Don't have a cocktail shaker? Use a mason jar with a lid!
  • Use good quality tequila! Don Julio and Casamigos Tequila are both great choices for any tequila cocktail.
  • You can use brown sugar in addition or instead of the salt on the rim. You can also do a plain salt rim, a plain sugar rim or just leave the seasoning off the rim all together.
  • This Pumpkin Spice Margarita recipe can be made in large batches too! Just multiply the ingredients by the number of drinks you want, mix well and store in a large container so it's ready to go
