Mash avocados, lime juice and salt with a fork or gloved hands until creamy with some chunks
Stir in garlic, tomato, red onion, cilantro and serrano

Avocados should have slight give to the touch but not be super soft. I prefer to mash avocados with my hands and a pair of gloves but a fork also works.Add as many serrano chiles as you like. If you want a milder version, use 1 jalapeno or omit peppers all together. Place plastic wrap over guacamole to store, pressing the plastic up against it to keep the most air out. This prevents browning.
