Fresh Peach Mango Salsa is a refreshing summer snack, appetizer or topping made in just 15 minutes. Eat it with chips, on fish, chicken or tucked into your favorite taco!
It's quick, easy and packed with flavor! Try it on top of this roasted half chicken recipe!

This recipe for peach and mango salsa tastes so fresh! If you're going to the trouble of slicing up a mango, you may as well make multiple recipes, such as a mango margarita! Both fit into your next taco night and will shine above the rest of the meal.
Use the freshest ingredients possible here. Obviously mangos aren't grown in most of the US, but will still be super fresh if you choose your market wisely. Peaches mean summer to me, and I love using fruit in savory recipes like this mango salsa or in a salad with burrata.

Why You'll Love This Recipe
- Take advantage of fresh summer fruit, as well as fresh herbs that you might be growing in the backyard!
- Quick and easy! Make this recipe in just 15minutes!
- Whether you are a fan of chorizo tacos or shrimp tacos, your tacos will get an upgrade with this on top.
Recipe Ingredients
- Mangoes - Make sure they have a little give to them before using to ensure they are perfectly ripe. Fresh mangoes go so well with salsa chimichurri!
- Roasted Red Peppers - You can easily roast your own red peppers in the oven or over an open flame on your stove. If I'm looking for a short cut, as I did in this recipe, I use store bought roasted red peppers in a jar. These make a nice additional ingredient in harissa hummus.
- Jalapeno Peppers - Take the seeds and membrane out of the jalapenos if you want to reduce the heat level. Try a serrano pepper if you want to increase the heat.
- Honey - I love Local Hive Honey. The Midwest varietal is my favorite, but whatever your favorite honey is will work.
See recipe card below for a full list of ingredients and measurements.
Substitutions & Variations
- I prefer equal amounts of peaches and mangos, but you can certainly use more of one or the other.
- Add basil to this salsa. It's absolutely delicious!
- Feeling extra? Roast your own red peppers over an open flame, then place in a bowl covered with plastic wrap to steam the skins off. Dice and use!
- You can use other, hotter peppers if you like, such as a Serrano chile. You should try Spicy Peach Galette with peaches and serranos!
How To Make Peach Mango Salsa Recipe

Step 2: Toss to coat and serve! Try serving over Chimichurri Salmon!
Expert Produce Tips
- Select peaches that have some give, but are still firm enough you don't squish them when given a gentle squeeze. They should also give off a fresh aroma. Make sure and buy enough to make peach cobbler with cake mix!
- Jalapeños are considered quite mild. You can leave the seeds and membranes in the mix to add some heat if desired.
- Wear gloves when working with hot peppers!
- Mangos can be very slippery, so be careful when peeling them as well as cutting the flesh off the pit.
- Always use freshly squeezed lime juice.
- Serve this salsa alongside my spicy guacamole recipe for parties!
Recipe FAQs
Store in the fridge, covered, for up to 5 days. Keep in mind the fruit will release more liquid as it sits, so you might want to use a slotted spoon to serve this on subsequent days. You can definitely make this earlier in the day so it is chilled and ready for dinner!
Definitely! I aim for about 1 ½ cups of each fruit, and you'll need to thaw, drain, and dice. Frozen mango chunks are usually quite large, and peaches are usually in slices. Thawing will let you slice them safely, and it will also let you remove excess water.
I don't think it is, but it depends on your heat sensitivity and the heat of the jalapenos. However, you can switch to a hotter chile pepper. I also add local honey to cut the heat and acid, and you could even use a hot honey here to switch things up.
I enjoy eating Peach Mango Salsa with tortilla chips, Asian Air Fryer Salmon, Tuna Poke or Shrimp Poke Bowl.
What To Serve With
This mango salsa recipe is best as a dip, with tacos or with fish. Check out these tips for each way!
Green Curry Shrimp - I like to cut the fruit and veggies in this salsa into larger slices and julienne cuts and serve it as a mango salad alongside Green Curry Shrimp!
Dip - When serving this salsa as a dip, I typically use tortilla chips. Try mixing the peach salsa with avocado, a little lime and salt for a fruity guacamole type dip.
Fish - I enjoy serving this salsa with salmon. It pairs well with most fish, so feel free to experiment! One of my favorite recipes to top with this salsa is Chimichurri Salmon.
Tacos - Al Pastor, shrimp, fish, or chicken tacos are my favorite taco pairing with peach and mangoes. It even goes well with carne asada or other Mexican dishes!
