Summer Peach Burrata Salad is refreshing, vibrant and built for warm weather entertaining. Juicy fresh peaches, creamy burrata, crunchy pistachios, peppery arugula, fresh mint and basil, and a bold homemade honey mustard that balances sweet and tangy!
Burrata salad is done in just 20-minutes, requires no cooking, and pairs perfectly with BBQs, summer cookouts, and elevated meals at home. This salad has a place at all my summer festivities along with Spicy Watermelon Arugula Salad!

I love making my own salad dressings, and this honey mustard salad dressing is the reason this salad shines. With two types of mustard for tang, honey for sweetness to balance the acidity it makes the best bold and balanced dressing.

Recipe Ingredients

- Burrata: Burrata can be found at most grocery stores near the fresh mozzarella. It is a round ball that has an outer shell of fresh mozz that's filled with fresh curd and thick cream. Also delicious in Pesto Bruschetta with Burrata!
- Mustard: Mustard keeps for a long time in the fridge due to the vinegar, so it's a great condiment to have multiple types on hand for when you want to use them in this dressing!
- Fresh fruit: Ensure your fruit is at the peak of ripeness so you have the best flavor! The peaches should have a slight give and strong aromatic peach scent to them. Raspberries should be very fragrant as well.
- Arugula: Select regular or baby here, whichever your store carries. Use leftover arugula in this Pear Arugula Salad!
- Fresh herbs: Mint and basil leaves add to the summer-feel in this peach burrata salad! This is perfect if you have a backyard herb garden.
- Pistachios: It is well worth the extra cost to buy already shelled nuts.
- Honey: Wouldn't be honey-mustard without this! Use a local honey, like Local Hive Honey for an extra special feel. This is great to pick up at the farmer's market when buying the produce.

Substitutions & Variations
- Peach and Burrata Salad is very versatile when it comes to the fruit. Strawberries, blueberries and blackberries are a great peach pairing. Nectarines and apricots can be used in place of peaches and dried cherries also work nicely here as they do in this shaved brussel sprout salad recipe!
- If you can't find burrata, mozzarella pearls will add that mozzarella taste but won't have that extra creamy addition.
- Not a fan of arugula's peppery bite? Try a mixture of other baby greens.
- Add holiday candied nuts for a crunchy flavor combo that pairs perfectly with peaches.

How To Make Arugula Peach Burrata Salad

Step 1: Whisk dressing ingredients well to combine.
Step 2: Layer salad ingredients before gently tearing burrata so its creamy center spreads over the top. Add seasoning and dressing to serve.
Expert Cooking Tips
- Look for fun flavors of shelled pistachios at the store such as salt and pepper or even chili pepper. Not only will this add a great crunch but can change the profile of the entire salad.
- Make your dressing ahead so it's ready when your peaches reach that tell-tale 'give' and sweet aroma that practically guarantees a juicy ripe peach - that is the perfect moment to make this salad! I love to store in glass canning jars in the fridge because I can just shake things up and not dirty a whisk. I do this with my Mediterranean cucumber salad recipe too.
- Peaches not ripe yet? Pop them in a brown lunch bag by themselves or add an apple. The gases as they ripen will speed up the process so you can enjoy this peach burrata salad sooner. I use this when making Peach Cobbler Pound Cake!
Peach Burrata Salad Recipe FAQs
This is a great version of fresh mozzarella, where a layer of mozzarella is basically "stuffed" with fresh curds and thick cream. It will really add to the presentation of your salad to have that on top! I highly recommend searching this out. You will look for more ways to use it once you have fallen in love with it.
Sorry mayo-haters, I really suggest using it here because we are doctoring it up with honey and other flavors. The sweetness of miracle whip dressing will be too much to add honey too. Try making spicy mayo too for a shrimp rice bowl!
With the burrata, fruit, and dressing, I do not recommend preparing peach burrata salad until it's time to serve. However, this will easily transport to a cookout if you do it in little packages. Assemble the greens and nuts in your salad bowl, then pack the fruit and dressing separately.
Store honey mustard dressing in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to one week. I do not recommend saving leftovers of this salad as they will quickly get soggy due to the dressing. If you don't think you will eat it all at once, I suggest only dressing half of the greens.
