    Why You'll Love This Recipe

    • This recipe is quick and easy to make. Alexia® Sweet Potato Fries in the air fryer take 14-16 minutes, and the toppings can be prepped during that time.
    • These fries are crispy, sweet and savory all at the same time.
    • Alexia® Sweet Potato Fries in the air fryer are a lighter healthier alternative to deep frying.
    • These air fryer frozen sweet potato fries can be used for a side, snack or appetizer. Just like Alexia® Potato Pancakes with Smoked Salmon!

    Recipe Ingredients

Alexia Sweet Potato Fries, prosciutto, mayo, lemon juice, olive oil, cilantro, garlic, salt, granulated garlic and cayenne pepper.

    Ingredient Notes

    • Alexia® Sweet Potato Fries With Sea Salt - These sweet potato fries are a top pick for us, containing no artificial ingredients, no GMOs and a crispy delicious flavor.
    • I use Hellman's mayo as my staple. Duke's mayo will also work but do not use a sweet mayo such as Miracle Whip.
    • Prosciutto can be found at your local grocer. It can be found in some deli areas and also in the specialty packaged meat section. Prosciutto is an Italian ham made from the hind legs of the pigs. It is salty and so flavorful!

See recipe card below for all ingredients and measurements

    Substitutions & Variations

    • Cotija cheese is a salty & tasty addition to Alexia® Sweet Potato Fries in the air fryer. It pairs well with the cilantro garlic aioli.
    • Truffle parmesan seasoning is one of my favorite additions to any fry!
    • Schug sauce and chimichurri are wonderful substitutions for the cilantro garlic aioli. Both have fresh herbs and a little spicy kick!

This recipe has not been tested with other substitutions. If you do replace any ingredients, please let us know how they turned out in the comments below!

    Expert Cooking Tips

    • Every air fryer cooks slightly different. Be sure to keep an eye on your Alexia® Sweet Potato Fries in the air fryer, there's a fine line between crispy sweet potato fries and burnt fries.
    • Cook fries from frozen, not thawed.
    • Do not make frozen fries in the air fryer until you are ready to serve. They are best served hot and fresh.
    • Keep a close eye on your prosciutto. Like the sweet potato fries, the thinly sliced prosciutto can easily burn.
    • Let prosciutto cool before crumbling.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Are Sweet Potato Fries Healthy?

Sweet potatoes contain many vitamins and nutrients such as vitamin A, C, fiber, B-6 and potassium. Alexia® sweet potato fries do not contain any artificial ingredients and do not contain GMOs. Like other vegetables, sweet potatoes are a low calorie food. Using an air fryer instead of deep fryer is much healthier because you're using much less oil. They have a high amount of carbs and aren't as healthy if they are fried or topped with unhealthy ingredients. Mayo Clinic has a great article on the sweet potatoes being a healthy food in your diet.

Do I Need To Preheat My Air Fryer?

I am a firm believer in preheating my air fryer. It's just like preheating the oven or a pan before putting anything in it. For best cooking results, preheat your air fryer for a few minutes first!

    Storage

After air frying frozen sweet potato fries, they are best eaten immediately. Once the sweet potato fries are topped, they do not keep well in the fridge.

    Freezing

Refreezing is not an option due to quality and texture issues.
