No, I do not recommend using fresh strawberries in strawberry crunch topping. Fresh strawberries contain far more moisture than freeze dried strawberries which will leave you with a sloppy mess. Try strawberry cream cheese pie for a fresh strawberry recipe combined with creamy flavor.

Strawberry Crunch Crumble
- 28 Golden Oreos
- 1 oz freeze dried strawberries
- 6 tablespoon unsalted butter melted
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
Instructions
Making the Strawberry Crunch Crumble
- Add all ingredients to the food processor and blend on low until combined but slightly chunky still
- Use immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 1 week in the fridge or 48 hours on the counter top

Can I toast this in the oven to crisp it up a bit?

You can but I would keep a close eye on it so it doesn't burn. 350°F for 10-12 minutes should be plenty. Give it a look around 5 minutes, just to make sure you don't burn it.
